KevBook
KevBook is the
/me/kevbookportfolio page: a Cobe globe and public directory of notable Kevin Lius, intentionally weird but sourced from public profiles.
Product rule
KevBook should stay funny without getting creepy. Entries use public pages, broad city-level coordinates, role summaries, and source links. Do not add private contact details, addresses, or unsourced claims. The point is a claimable public graph of people with the same name doing surprisingly specific work.
Current scope
The current app data lives in ui/src/app/me/kevbook-data.ts. As of 2026-06-30 it includes 25 public nodes across builders, research, engineering, finance, law, medicine, creative work, athletics, games, and hospitality. The latest expansion added:
- Kevin Liu at OpenAI / Stanford, sourced from his personal site.
- Kevin Xinye Liu at Harvard Catalyst / Dana-Farber.
- A Harvard Undergraduate Quantitative Traders Kevin Liu.
- A Harvard GSD architecture / urban design Kevin Liu.
- Additional public profiles from Sewanee, University of Toronto, Latham & Watkins, North York General Hospital, University of Washington, Columbia WiMNet, CICC, Dayforce, UW Tacoma, and Yale Daily News.
Maintenance rule
Future entries should include:
- A stable public source URL.
- A broad city coordinate, not a precise address.
- A short note explaining what makes the Kevin notable.
- A category that helps filtering, not a vanity label.
