What it is

Kevin-Wiki stores durable knowledge, preferences, skills, routing maps, automations, project history, research and design references in readable Markdown. Kevin curates sources and asks questions, and agents write, cross-reference, maintain and verify the pages. Source: AGENTS.md

It follows the Karpathy LLM Wiki pattern: no database for the core knowledge, flat Markdown in wiki/, and local search through qmd instead of a hosted vector store. It is the shared brain for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other runtimes: the runtime can change while the identity files, compiled pages, skill sources and routing stay the source of truth. How it is laid out

The site is public by default, and one shared gate decides what stays private. Whole folders such as people and finance, some slug tokens, tags and a list of slugs are private, and pages tagged with sensitive subjects are always private. The policy is ui/src/lib/privacy-policy.json, the gate is ui/src/lib/privacy-gate.mjs, and ui/scripts/test-privacy-gating.ts tests it. The 2026-10-30 to 11-02 overhaul

From 2026-10-30 to 2026-11-02 the wiki was unified and cleaned up in five phases. Source: private page, 2026-10-30 to 2026-11-02

• The v3 rebuild merged into main, and cross-project agent rules moved out of scattered memory folders into owner pages such as private page.
• 48 overlapping skills folded into their family owners and 29 moved to deprecated, so the runtime fell from 297 entries to 220. Every loaded skill description is 250 characters or fewer, with the use case first.
• llms.txt lists only real paths, qmd indexes one collection over the checkout, and a daily intake runs on launchd.
• Phone numbers left the people pages, and public pages carry no personal email addresses.
• Site deploys failed from 2026-10-30 until 8b4b20791 on 2026-11-02, because the v3 merge added code the upload left out.
