Lootbox Simulator

A browser-based lootbox simulator built during freshman-year winter break, part of Kevin's Princeton-era game arc.

What it is

Lootbox Simulator is a browser game around opening loot boxes and simulating rarity/reward loops. The repo README is still mostly T3 scaffold text, so the durable facts come from GitHub metadata, the live deployment, and Kevin's account that he made it during winter break of freshman year. Why it matters

This project should not be positioned as a top technical achievement. It matters as a continuity marker: Kevin kept building playful web games around feedback loops before PawPointClicker and the much larger Princeton Tower Defense. The useful pattern is repeated game-design practice in small, shipped, deployed artifacts. Source: User request, 2026-06-25

Portfolio angle

Mention Lootbox Simulator when telling the Princeton game story chronologically:

  1. Freshman winter break: Lootbox Simulator as a compact reward-loop game.
  2. Princeton campus culture: PawPointClicker as a Fizz-distributed clicker.
  3. Long-form craft: Princeton Tower Defense as the full procedural browser tower defense system. Source: User request, 2026-06-25
