Meaningful mentions of existing entities must be linked and, when evidentiary, reflected on the entity page.

What Not To Do

Do not add manual ## Backlinks sections. Backlinks are computed from _backlinks.json; entity timeline entries are human-authored evidence.

Failure Mode

An unlinked entity mention is a retrieval failure. A mechanical backlink with no evidence value is graph spam.
