Zero belongs in the same comparison set as Local Coding Agents, Claude Code Harness, Codex Harness (OpenAI), and OpenClaw Harness. The adoption gate is practical:
- install in an isolated scratch repo first;
- verify model/provider configuration and filesystem permissions;
- run a small bugfix with tests and inspect the transcript;
- confirm it respects dirty-worktree and branch ownership;
- only then decide whether it deserves a focused skill or stays a tool reference.
The paired July rows are high-signal because they point at a fast-moving local-control coding-agent surface. They are not enough to change Kevin's default harness.
