Expressive loader builder from Michael Ajah / DCP, created as a Mistral design exploration. Use it when a loading state should become a branded motion artifact rather than a generic wait indicator.
What It Is
loaders.wtf is a hosted loader design tool and gallery. The public site describes it as a design exploration at Mistral around making loaders less forgettable, then open-sourcing the result for others to remix. The reviewed local artifact shows a dark canvas editor with loader cards such as "Thinking", "Reading Docs", "Analysing", and "Debugging"; preview/share/export controls; and a settings panel for cell shape, animation pattern, speed, animation style, background, builder/effects/nodes/colors, text shimmer, image mask, AI generation, SVG import, and export.
The durable lesson is that loading is not a throwaway state. For an agent product, a loader can communicate the kind of work being done: reading docs, debugging, analyzing, thinking, or building. Stack Fit
Use loaders.wtf when:

Do not replace every standard loader with a decorative animation. Dense dashboards, forms, and repeated workflows should prefer skeletons, inline status text, and compact typographic spinners. If the loader becomes more interesting than the task, the interface is probably compensating for latency instead of explaining it.
