You provide a video topic or keyword; MoneyPrinterTurbo auto-generates the script (or accepts a custom one), pulls matching footage, and assembles subtitles, background music, and a voiceover into a finished HD short. Created March 2024 by harry0703; MIT-licensed, written in Python on an MVC architecture exposing both an API and a Web界面 (web UI). Trendshift-featured; Chinese-origin project (primary README is 简体中文, with English/Arabic translations). Correction
The bookmarked tweet framed it at "~13K stars"; the canonical repo now shows 94,358 stars, 13,698 forks, MIT license, latest release v1.3.0 published 2026-06-10, and HEAD 48b08719c9690739a79dc70665db8dbd109c2afc as of 2026-06-30. The reviewed image is a README screenshot with older badge counts, so use GitHub API data as the version authority. Source: GitHub API and git ls-remote, 2026-06-30
Stack fit (Kevin)
- Low priority — content-generation utility, not an agent/dev tool. It does not touch Kevin's harness, Dedalus, or skill workflows. Relevant only to the social-distribution surface (Frontend and Design Skills, Security and Review Skills) as one way to mass-produce faceless shorts.
- For agent-driven, code-controlled video, prefer HyperFrames / Text-to-Lottie / Remotion + Claude Code Marketing Demos (auditable, programmatic) over a stock-footage TTS pipeline.
- Supply-chain caveat: the bookmark routes through a promo account whose follow-up thread pushes a Telegram channel offering "Claude Opus 4.7 for free." Treat that promo as a red flag; the upstream repo is legitimate, but run the three-gate chain (Brin - Agent Context Security, skill-auditor, reputation) before installing anything reached through that thread.
Timeline
- 2026-05-25 | @Atenov_D surfaced MoneyPrinterTurbo (topic-to-short-video automation), 5,456 likes, 11,896 bookmarks. Follow-up promo links a sketchy Telegram channel; tool itself is real. Source: X/@Atenov_D, 2026-05-25
- 2026-06-30 | Deep-reviewed the enriched record, Telegram promo, author replies, local image, and current repo status. Kept as a low-priority tool page: real repo, but no active skill import because the source thread routes through a promo channel and the workflow is faceless-video generation rather than Kevin's core agent stack.
