Moodboard Sites

Kevin's design-folder router: moodboards, whole-site galleries, section galleries, component sources, motion/effect references, typography/icon shelves, and product-site exemplars.

The original seed was a three-site moodboarding list: Pinterest, Cosmos, and Rebrand Gallery. Kevin's current design folder is broader. Treat this page as the first shelf selector before opening the more specific pages.

Pinterest — the broad default visual reference engine. Useful for early divergent exploration, group boards, skin-tone-aware beauty search, and visual search, but noisy enough that it should not be the final implementation source. Source: Pinterest homepage via enriched bookmark, 2026-07-04

Cosmos.so — "your space for inspiration": a curation/discovery platform for creatives with searchable visual collections ("your collections, your references, your taste — connected, searchable, yours") and an iOS app. Higher signal-to-noise than Pinterest for design work. Rebrand Gallery — "a curated gallery of rebrands and visual identities," collecting new design systems, identity launches, and rebrand reveal videos (e.g. Nava, Sanity), with Intros and Bentos sections and a Pro tier. Stack fit (Kevin)

• Moodboarding is step zero of any direction call: gather real references before invoking a taste skill, instead of prompt-generating a vibe.
• Use this page to pick the right shelf, then open the owning page. Future agents should not dump all design references here.
• Cosmos and Rebrand Gallery remain the high-signal defaults for mood and brand identity. Mobbin/Refero are for real shipped product UI. Component libraries are for implementation source.
• Treat product/company sites as benchmarks for structure, hierarchy, copy, motion, and documentation, not as tool recommendations. Use Product Site Reference Gallery for that layer.
• Do not store signed or tokenized URLs. The 2026-06-25 Adobe Fonts links were sanitized to public font pages in raw/notes/design-folder-sites-2026-06-25.md.

Exclusions and route-outs

• GlobalProtect install docs are not design references; route to IT/support context if needed.
• Raw infra tools such as Railway, Render, Temporal, Vercel Sandbox, E2B, and Daytona are product/site references here only when studying their web presence. For operational use, route through tool pages or service CLI routing.
• Broken or unstable URLs should be normalized before promotion. The pasted Embla static example returned a 404; use the base Embla examples page when referencing it. The pasted t.co shortlink remains unresolved in the sanitized raw note.
