Anthropic announced Claude Tag on 2026-06-23 as a Slack-first beta for Claude Team and Enterprise customers. Administrators grant Claude access to selected channels and connected tools, data, and codebases; channel members tag @Claude to delegate work, and Claude responds in the Slack thread when done. The product status is service/platform, not package-versioned. Current public authority is the Anthropic launch page, release notes, and the July 2026 webinar page. The launch page says Claude Tag replaces the older Claude in Slack app, with a 30-day administrator migration path and introductory launch credit for eligible Team and Enterprise organizations.
